Following our 33rd Birthday party, and due to the very low usage of the Forum on this site (many people didn't even realise there was one), we have set up a MICOM Members Group on Google Groups. This is a closed group, and content is not searchable from outside the group. Membership is open to all current and past members of MICOM. You may apply by going to the group, requesting an invitation, and providing some identification so we can ascertain your membership status. http://groups.google.com/group/micommem |

The MICOM forums is now active! The forums has now been integrated into the MICOM web site so all registered members should now be able to access it from the "Forums" link in the main menu on the home page. I have added some categrories but need members feedback on what other discussion areas they may find interesting or are prepared to put their penneth worth into that topic. In the support area I have added information about an alternative to the adobe .pdf viewer plus I have added information on playing .flv movie files on your computer so test them and make some comments whether you like them or not. Remember anything is only as good as what you put into it so the more the merrier and the more content on this site the more popular the site will become with members and visitors. With regard to the forums would members like to see a public area where virtually anyone can post messages or would that generate a lot of posting spam? |

Some services available for all members! Email Account: After somewhat of a break members can now once again request a @micom.asn.au email account (pop, smtp or webmail) or redirection to their regular email address. Hosting: Another service not provided for a few years is sub-domain web hosting where members can request a www.username.micom.asn.au hosting service with the features to be determined by what demand there is for this service. More Hosting: is available to members where they can host their own domain name with micom but the features would be determined by what demad there is for this service. |
